The Tuff Guard® XT heavy-duty semi truck grill guard begins with stainless steel construction. We use stainless steel because, unlike carbon steel, stainless steel maintains a clean, consistent finish in spite of exposure to rain, dirt and road salt. Also, unlike aluminum, stainless steel offers optimum strength for long-lasting durability.

This semi brush guard can be used specifically as a semi truck deer guard or deer bumper, or simply to add a professional touch and extra protection to your front-end. It is built from 3" diameter, 14-gauge tubing, welded together into a sleek but solid design. The Tuff Guard® XT is uniquely designed to remain low on the front-end of the truck, providing extra protection for the bumper and grille without dominating the profile of your truck.

With stainless steel construction, Tuff Guard® XT semi bumper guards are available in two finish options: black powder coat or polished. The black powder-coated stainless steel maximizes corrosion resistance and gives the grille guard a sleek look. The polished finish offers a bright shine and has excellent rust resistance.

For enhanced functionality, the Tuff Guard® XT semi truck bumper guard is designed to mount onto vehicle-specific brackets with a built-in fold-down mechanism. These fold-down brackets allow for convenient access to the engine compartment whenever necessary. The Tuff Guard® XT is also compatible with the RETRAC MagLatch™ option. MagLatch™ mounting brackets use rare-earth magnets to keep the grille guard in the upright position. This offers reliable strength for the fold-down brackets while offering even more convenient access under the hood. For added security, the brackets are also set with a safety pin to keep the magnetic attachment point secure.

The Tuff Guard® XT grille guard is engineered to perfectly integrate with the design of your truck, and it couldn't be easier to install. Compared to the original RETRAC Tuff Guard® grille guard, this XT model is built with a taller frame. This not only covers more of the grille, but it also maintains operation of VORAD systems and fog lights.
